Miach I really like your poster because it is very creative and well done. I like the idea of the sprout and the tree with the pictures in the leaves. I think that it portrays your friends, family, and interests that you have accumalated through the years. I also really like the effect you've done with the text in the poster. All in all well done, and I can't find anything bad to say about it.

Creative Process :
ReplyDeleteIts was very hard to decide what to do, because i wanted it to effective but artistic.
So i chose nature-
The background is a sky blue & i manually made the realistic clouds and used my pre-downloaded cloud brush.
Then i found a tree with no leaves and cut it out of its background, then went to the layer editor and changed it from normal to linear dodge, to give it a 'in the future' look from its sprout.
After that, i created a leaf cut-out brush and look a bunch of my favorite pictures and arranged them like a collage to represent 'my previous and present life'
And for the sprout i used the magic erase tool to make life easier, since the background was already white. Then looked for dirt/soil to make ground. Put them together to look real and spiced it up with some pre-downloaded 'floral' brushes to represent growth.
Then with the text, i used just a basic Times New Roman and a pre-downloaded font called Soopafresh. Took both fonts and stroked them in black and dropped back the shadow and for the word 'sprout', i made a grass pattern to pattern overlay in blending options. and 'walla!' there you have it (:
